2022 Inspectors Appreciation Event – wrap-up

Our second Inspectors Appreciation Event took place August 12 at Slim Baker Foundation in Bristol and – as is always the case for N.H. Tree Farm events – it was a wonderful opportunity for folks to spend time together and catch up. (Offering CEUs didn’t hurt!)

After a guided tour of recent logging operations and time spent at the appropriately named “Inspiration Point,” attendees got together for a cookout and to applaud both Slim Baker for attaining Tree Farm status, as well as the awarding of the very first “John A. O’Brien N.H. Tree Farm Inspector of the Year” award, which went to Tim Wallace of River Edge Forestry. John’s family attended and it was wonderful to continue to celebrate his many lasting contributions to the N.H. Tree Farm Program.

As mentioned, this was only our second Inspector Appreciation Event and we’re interested in knowing how you think it went, what you enjoyed and any way we might make improvements.
